incorporating hippotherapy

Our licensed therapists use the variable rhythmic and repetitive movement of the horse to stimulate healthy pelvis movement in humans. The sensory input provided by the horse helps to increase or restore the balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and/or endurance of patients. Partnered with the treatment strategies of the therapist and your physician's prescribed treatment goals, physical therapy incorporating hippotherapy offers and alternative approach to improving mobility.

Riding has helped her develop balance, strengthen her core muscles, and increase flexibility in her hips. Plus, her volunteer team and Iris are some of her biggest cheerleaders! It's such a positive place to be!
